36th Annual Behavioral Health Institute

August 12-15, 2008
Hot Springs Convention Center
Hot Springs, Arkansas

Mark your calendars now for the 36th Annual Arkansas Behavioral Health Institute. It will be held August 12 - 15, 2008, at the Hot Springs Convention Center in Hot Springs, Arkansas. Our theme is "Taking Care of Business".

The face of behavioral healthcare is changing daily with the blending of programs and services. More than ever there are innovative efforts of collaboration among Community Mental Health Providers, Primary Healthcare Providers, Schools, Hospitals, Law Enforcement and Mental Health/Drug Courts. The 2008 Institute reflects these changes and challenges that affect our practice.

What is the Institute? The Behavioral Health Institute is an annual event bringing together over 1,000 mental health consumers, family members, providers, and policy makers from Arkansas and surrounding states. The Behavioral Health Institute is the mid-south’s largest behavioral healthcare forum. Presentations and workshops will address pertinent practice approaches and discuss today’s behavioral healthcare policy issues. The participants will gather to share the latest information pertaining to behavioral healthcare delivery, to consider new treatment and service management technologies, and to enhance skills for effective diagnostic and treatment interventions.
