Mental Health Council of Arkansas - 36th Annual Behavioral Health Institute 2008

The Arkansas Behavioral Health Institute is an annual event bringing together over 1,000 mental health consumers, family members, providers, and policy makers from Arkansas and surrounding states. The Institute is the midsouth’s largest behavioral healthcare forum. Participants will gather to share the latest information pertaining to behavioral healthcare delivery, to become informed about new treatment and service management technologies, and to enhance skills for effective diagnostic and treatment interventions.

Programs and presentations focus on pertinent best practice models, technologies and policy issues. Special emphasis is placed on training providers in the latest information pertaining to behavioral healthcare service delivery.

This year, the Institute will be held at the Hot Springs Convention Center, Hot Springs, Arkansas on August 12 - 15, 2008. The theme for the 36th Annual Arkansas Behavioral Health Institute is “Taking Care of BUSINESS”.
